Pace-O-Matic Helps South Philly Gymnastics Team Shine with $7K Donation

When a local news story spotlighted a group of young gymnasts competing without matching uniforms, it caught the attention of Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving.
The South Philadelphia-based Vare Gymnastics team has been training and competing for years with limited resources, often facing teams with larger budgets and more resources. Thanks to a $7,000 donation from Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving, the team will now take the floor in brand-new, matching leotards.

“Field of Blue” statue to The Bronze Project in Cheyenne, Wyoming, celebrating public art’s role in honoring the military and enriching community spaces. Sculpted by George Lundeen, the statue depicts a young boy holding a folded flag, symbolizing respect for fallen soldiers. Michael and Karmin Pace contributed to the project to honor the military and support local art. Cheyenne’s Mayor, Patrick Collins, also shared thoughts on the project’s significance for the community.
650 Free Meals Distributed Tuesday in Norfolk

People impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic received a free hot meal Tuesday at a Norfolk restaurant.
The Azalea Inn and Time Out Sports bar distributed 650 meals from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. outside at the Roosevelt Gardens Shopping Center (2344 East Little Creek Road).
American Legion, Organizations Give Free Meals to Veterans

To honor Veterans Day, one Clinton County organization offered free meals to former service members and their guests. At American Legion Post 623 in Beech Creek, hundreds of veterans stopped by over the course of the afternoon to pick up a free meal in honor of their service.
