Cheyenne, WY – Pace-O-Matic, the nation’s leading developer of skill games and the company behind Cowboy Skill games in Wyoming, has appointed James Harmon as Vice President of Business Development.
Harmon, a Wyoming resident, offers over 10 years of experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) sales and leadership. Before joining Pace-O-Matic, Harmon worked as a Sales Enablement Coach at Thryv, a business software platform. In that role, he designed and delivered comprehensive training programs that enabled professionals to excel in software sales and strengthen partnerships. Harmon also has experience in sales coaching, helping clients focus on skill development, pipeline management, and effective communication.
“In my career, I have seen firsthand the struggles of small businesses and how important finding new, sustainable methods of income can be to their success. That is part of what made me so interested in Pace-O-Matic and their skill game products,” said Harmon. “I am excited to leverage my expertise to support Pace-O-Matic in their commitment to helping small businesses thrive, innovating the gaming industry, and giving back to communities.”
In his role as Vice President of Business Development, Harmon will support Pace-O-Matic as the company continues to grow and develop in markets throughout the country, particularly in western states including Wyoming.
“James brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to support Pace-O-Matic’s mission, goals, and success,” said Paul Goldean, President and CEO of Pace-O-Matic. “The monumental growth we have seen over the past few years is due in large part to the incredible talent and expertise of our team. I know James will be a great addition to Pace-O-Matic as we continue to expand.”
A native of Texas, Harmon moved to Wyoming in 2009 to work on a ranch outside of Cody. He studied Business Administration and Management at the University of Wyoming and currently lives in Cheyenne with his wife and three kids. Harmon served in the Wyoming National Guard from 2012 to 2020. He also competed for 10 years in the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo and currently serves as a judge for the event’s wild horse race.
