When the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg recently faced heartbreaking vandalism and theft, the community quickly came together to ensure the organization could continue its mission of providing a safe and positive space for local youth.
We were proud to join Senator Patty Kim, Mark Hawthorne, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg, Frank Burdell, District Office Director with Representative Nate Davidson’s office, and Stephen Holmes, Commander of the Ephraim Slaughter American Legion Post 733 in Harrisburg, to present a check in support.
The funds will go toward replacing the club’s security system and repairing damaged equipment. Fortunately, the organization has said they are still on track to open their doors in September when students go back to school.

Our Chief Public Affairs Officer, Michael Barley, our Senior V.P. of Communications, Rachel Albritton, and our Government Relations Representative, Caden McGaughey, attended the event as well.
Supporting the local communities where we operate has been a priority for Pace-O-Matic since we opened our doors 25 years ago. Giving back, especially in times of unforeseen crisis and loss, is a critical part of our mission.
The Boys & Girls Club has long been a beacon of opportunity for young people, and even in the face of challenges, its impact remains clear. At Pace-O-Matic, we are inspired by their dedication and proud to support the work they do every day for Harrisburg’s next generation.
